Intended
 Use

 

  • For sealing annular gaps around combustible and non-combustible pipes or around single cables. Also, for sealing plasterboards when using Tangit FP550 Foam in ceilings and excellently suited for sealing walls that have been doubled with plasterboards.
  • Required amount: At a strand thickness of 6 mm, one cartridge has a yield of 11 m.

 

Please note:

  • The Fire Protection Mastic Tangit FP 440 is a required system component for sealing penetrations in ceilings with Tangit FP 550 Fire Protection Foam.
  • Fire-resistant penetrations must be equipped with an identification plate.
  • Please also refer to our Technical Data Sheet and Safety Data Sheet.

Applications

  1. The substrate must be clean and dust-free.

  2. When passing single cables or pipes through the wall or ceiling acc. to MLAR 2005/LAR/RbALei, these must be inserted centrally into the drill-hole.
