Intended
 Use

 

  • Cleaning agent for bonded joints made of PVC-U, PVC-C and ABS (use PP-/ PE-/PB-/PVDF Tangit Special Cleaner for plastic weld joints).
  • Required amount: Sufficient for approx. 80 bonds at d = 63 mm (calculated for 1000 ml).

 

Please note:

  • Open fire and sparking must be avoided at all costs.
  • Wear suitable protective clothing during work.
  • Please also refer to our Technical Data Sheet and Safety Data Sheet.

Applications  

Step 1

Cut off the pipe end at right angles, chamfer it from outside (15°) and debur it. 

Step 2

Pre-clean and dry the surfaces to be bonded. 

Step 3

Mark the fitting insertion depth on the pipe end.

Step 4

Apply Tangit PVC-U/PVC-C/ABS Cleaner on absorbent paper tissues and thoroughly clean the dry surfaces to be bonded. 

Step 5

Use a new paper tissue for each cleaning operation.
